The final countdown


Regardless of whether Chicago gets the 2016 Olympics, I'm proud of my hometown and it is great seeing it all over the news from so far away. Just a few hours to go until the big announcement....

Holy Cow!


Hooray -- Mr. Cub, Ernie Banks, will be honored with a statue at Wrigley Field! I had the pleasure of meeting him once and recently framed the autograph, along with that of the Osmonds (whom I didn't meet). A mere 18 days to go until the home opener at the Friendly Confines!

Hot diggity dog!
